SIA licensing is at an advanced level nowadays, but we ensure that operatives are trained above SIA standards and have a good level of English reading, writing, speaking, listening and understanding.
The UK Home Office (British Government) stipulate that all learners completing an SIA training course MUST be able to pass a basic English Assessment, but some training providers find a way around this. An incompetent security officer means your Client will not renew a contract with you if you risk civil or criminal liability. A highly competent security officer will give your Clients peace of mind.

Security training is not like attending College / University where a translator can be used. It is a 1 - 2 week course and it is extremely important to be able to have no language or communication barriers when dealing with a public emergency situation and this is the reason for good spoken, written, reading, listening and understanding the English language to ensure public safety and prevent terrorism.
